Window in the Parkview Neighborhood

Yesterday I took an out-of-town Buyer around several lovely homes in University City and the CWE. I came across this stained-glass window in a Parkview Arts and Craft home.  Lovely!

 

Parkview Arts and Craft Home- Follow-up

A few days ago I posted some pics of the lovely Arts and Craft home in the Parkview neighborhood.  I got a personal peak last weekend.  Thank you Jeff and Mike for letting me see your special home.  It really is a treasure!  Below are some pics of the house that I took.  Read my previous post for more information HERE.

Check out the original light fixtures that used to have the capability to run electricity and gas.  Back in those days electricity was unreliable and thought to be a fad.

William Albert Hirsch Residence (1908) Parkview

The William Albert Hirsch Residence in the Parkview is probably one of the most important Arts and Crafts homes in the St. Louis area.  A nice couple bought the house a few months ago and are tenderly preserving it. Luckily the home was in its original state when they bought it. All of the original fixtures were in place....though in need of a little love.
