Hi Ted, I really enjoy reading your blog. Was covering every flat surface in bathrooms with tile done frequently in the 50s? My fiance and I bought a 50s ranch in Tanglewood (off 170) about a year ago. The bathrooms in our house have 100% floor, wall, and ceiling tile just like this house. We'd never seen anything like it before and always wondered if it was common?

I have seen a few 50's homes that were tiled head to toe. Ceilings are a little rarer….though still common.
