I was at the Missouri Botanical Garden the other day and admired their Purple Shamrocks in the Lily Garden. I must try them next year. It sounds like you plant tubers.

Your shamrock plant is called " Oxalis " it grows outside in some areas ( known as a forest plant )and I have it as a house plant for over 40 yrs.
