Yesterday I took a long walk in Forest Park. It has become sort of a Columbus Day tradition....though normally it is a run....my heal has been sore. The gardens in front of the Jewel Box were so bright and beautiful! I also got a bonus. Someone had torn up and thrown a bunch of thyme under a tree. I walked the rest of the way with three fragrant bunches in my hands.
