Yesterday we featured a remarkable mid-century building that Frederick Dunn helped design. Today I am featuring one of my favorite houses in Ladue that Frederick Dunn designed. Built in 1961, this house reminds me of an Italian pavilion house reminiscent of Pompeii.

This house is wonderful... is it on the market?

It is not on the market now....though the lot in front of it on Ladue Road is on the market. I am afraid that whatever is built on the lot will shield the nice front view of the house from the street.

Ugh, hopefully not something to add to your "bad in-fill" category!
