Clayton Gardens neighborhood is located north of Maryland Avenue from Gay Avenue up to Brentwood and then south of Delmar. Over the years people have been tearing down the sturdy ranch homes to build some elegant infill that generally starts around $1.5 million. Sometimes these homes are architecturally appealing and sometimes they just miss the mark. The first three homes I have pictured are some of the best examples of quality design....the bottom three speak for themselves.
And now for some that miss the mark.....
The first one of the bottom three is especially unfortunate.

The third house of the "good" bunch is quite attractive. #1 of the bad houses looks like a small convention center. Is in on a corner?

It does command a prime corner. I like modern...though this looks more like bad 80's modern.
