"Isadore Shank (1902-1992) was one of St. Louis' foremost modernist architects. Projects include the 12-story Ambassador Apartments at 5340 Delmar Blvd. (1950); the DeBaliviere Building at Delmar Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue (1928); the Teamsters union's recreational complex in Pevely, Mo. (1963); and numerous private residences, including the family's own Ladue home." By Liam Otten
Here are some pictures from 12 Westwood Country Club which is on the market for $599,499.

love Isadore! I am trying to contact the agents to see if they have a brochure. I am sure this one will be torn down and a new home place in its place. Thanks for posting it.

Do you know if either of these homes sold? I'm very interested, especially in the 12 Westwood country club one. Where can I find real estate listings for mid-century mod homes in St. Louis? The M.O.R.E site no longer seems active. Thanks a bunch for all your great posts and work!

Both did sell....I hope the new owners will be gentle on these homes.

If you stand in the doorway of this house and look directly across the street you see a home designed by little known Prairie School architect Russell Barr Williamson from milwaukee. He worked for Frank Lloyd Wright until 1917. Then practiced in Milwaulkee until the 1950's or 60's. He designed two homes in St. Louis.
Westwood is a special plce that few know about. Lots of unusual homes there.
